We are looking for the Maintenance Manager for 5* resort, currently under renovation, that will be rebranded and reopen as Hilton,who will be responsible for providing the customer with secure and comfortable environment by maintaining the hotel's assets through ongoing maintenance programs.

Reportint to: General Manager & Owner (during the current reconstruction phase)

Main responsibilities

• Oversees the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, equipment and technical systems
• Maintains facilities and equipment by conducting inspections on a regular basis to determinate the need and extend of service, eqipment required, type of operation and maintenance needed
• Schedules the approriate preventive maintenance programme
• Communicate on a daily basis with heads of the departments in order to resolve any maintenance issue in a prompt and efficient manner
• Schedules employees in accordance with plan
• Assigns work orders by priority, delegates duties and supervises work
• Takes prompt corrective actions as necessary
• Ensures adherence to applicable laws, meeting with government and insurance representatives and performing follow-up as required
• Recommends, establishes and maintain inventory level thresholds based on buget and availability of supplies
• Develops and promotes energy conservation programmes by continually monitoring utility costs and consumption
• Managing employees working in maintenance department, including contractors and hotel employees
• Ensures the safety of the people and property within the premises by applying hotel regulations, adhering to existing laws and regulations
• Screens, interviews and select potential staff for the department
• Prepare and control the maintenance budget, optimizing costs and resources
• Manage and monitor external contractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality, cost control and compliance

Requirementes

• Bachelors's degree at the tehnical faculty (Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer)
• Previous experience as an Maintenance Manager or in similar role
• Professional proficiency in English and Croatian language

Job Opportunity: Construction Manager – Hotel Renovation Project in Croatia

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate the renovation of a 150-room hotel located in Croatia and all the outlets involved in the renovation
The project involves building renovation works, along with minor electrical and mechanical systems upgrades. The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the construction site, ensuring that deadlines, budget, and quality standards are met.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, results-driven professional with proven experience managing complex projects in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily supervision of site activities and coordination of contractors and suppliers.
• Planning and monitoring project progress to ensure deadlines and key milestones are met.
• Monitor and control the cost and the c.site referring to the budget KPI
• Ensuring the quality of work and compliance with technical specifications and regulations.
• Overseeing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance on site.
• Providing regular progress updates and reports to the company management and the client.
• Identifying and resolving operational issues to minimize delays and inefficiencies.
• Reviewing and validating progress reports and invoices (Work Progress Statements).
• Coordinating and integrating activities across different disciplines (construction, electrical, mechanical).

Requirements:

• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in managing complex construction sites, ideally in the hospitality or commercial building sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction and MEP systems (electrical and mechanical).
• Relocate to the c.site in Croatia for the entire project duration (15-18 months).
• Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities with a results-oriented mindset.

Education:

• Degree in Civil, Building, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Alternatively, a technical diploma with significant proven experience managing international construction projects.
